2007San Francisco de Asis Church
Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, USA
Canon EOS 5D | ISO 250 | 173m | 1/1250 sec | F/4.0
One of the several historical churches I visited on my trip, the San Francisco de Asis church and its adobe walls were made famous by Georgia O’Keefe’s paintings. While most photographers try to capture the abstract shapes of the church’s rear butresses, I chose a less familiar view point…

I really like this one Anne, especially the sort of telescopic aspect of the near and far crosses. Especially well done!

This photo captures so many elements. Not only does the contrast between the blue of the sky and the white of the crosses enhance the impressiveness of the shot, but the multiple crosses both clear and blurry makes the photo stunning!
Brian
Beautiful image. Lovely.
Dave
Unbelievable composition. Almost like they designed it for this photo to be taken. Your color schemes are just incredible too…I wish I was that good at getting cohesive color schemes together in my shots. Excellent.
