Marcin and I found these bones on the popular Angel’s Landing trail last March. The bones were neatly centered in a large hueco at eye level on the side of the trail. It’s hard to imagine an animal chosing to die there and the bones bleaching over a period of time mostly undisturbed. I suspect this scene was staged by some forlorn dog owner after his pet passed away…
