Kendall Katwalk, Pacific Crest Trail, Washington, USA

Finally — my first hike post-pneumonia. Yeah!! The trail had a fair amount of snow on the way up with a few steep gullies to cross in the last half-mile. We had optimistically left our ice axes behind, but the soft snow and the ski poles proved sufficient to reach the Katwalk. The weather also cooperated for some excellent views of the various Snoqualmie peaks.
Happy St-Jean Baptiste to all the Québécois out there!

Wicked Landscape. Awesome shot.

Great landscape, must have been a real hike to get there! Was there any snow? I like the fact that you managed to capture the grim reaper in the shot too!

Well, someone ought to wear other colours than black when going hiking with a keen photographer! 🙂
