First of all, my apologies for not posting recently. I wish I had some compelling excuse β but I just donβt! π
I had the great privilege of spending the day with one of the foremost wedding photographers yesterday. Not only is Bambi Cantrell a superb photographer and business woman β she is also an inspiring and generous human being.
Bambi took the time to process this particular image I shot in Venice last fall. She created a warm and textured image reminiscent of oil paintings from the 19th century β she called it the Pirates of the Caribbeans look while I referred to it as the Les MisΓ©rables look! Feel free to come up with your own tagline! You can enjoy more of Bambiβs masterful work on her website.

Love the colors in this. Somehow not quite the way I remember it looking, but a stunning picture none the less! Welcome back!!!

Great capture and great processing. luv it!

I’ll call it the “banana boat with canal split” look.

As usual, love the image. But mostly, SO GLAD YOU’RE BACK!

I love the light. What did the processing do to enhance this photo?

Awsome colors. I really like the yellow that’s mirrored by the buildings. Cool photo

Yes, I like the warmth and light in this. It’s a nice contrast to the snowy pictures that precede it.

Absolutely Stunning work! The shades of yellow to rose to peachy gold are gorgeous and the blue and green boats add just enough other shades without overbearing. Fanfastic…
