Forbidden City, Beijing, China
Canon Digital Rebel XT | ISO 200 | 1/200 sec | F/9.0
I was so taken with my first visit to the Forbidden City that I returned again today — and may need yet another trip before I leave China… The Meridian Gate stands tall across the Golden River at the Southern entrance. The reflections in the Golden River are breathtaking and are best enjoyed early or late in the day.

Too true. I had a rushed visit the first time I went there and definitely needed more time.
Excellent stuff in the shot. All those reflectons and curves. Really shows what its actually like.

Very good shot.. lovely colors and great composition… one does not get to see pictures like this of China too often!
Gary
great colors and composition – agree with rahul, keep these coming.

I like the composition. But, the water and reflections draw my eye away from the main building. A lower angle might get only the reflections… might be interesting.
