Fun at the beach with an LED headlamp, a little wine and clearly too much time on our hands! Thanks Mark and Nate!

Interesting photo.

I love playing around with light! I did the same thing and I also used an off camera flash to make multiples. Hours of fun!

Wow — that’s some very accurate light painting 🙂

that must have been fun to shoot. i’ve always wanted to try something like that. but maybe i’ll stick to something less complicated.

I feel compelled to dispel any notion that this is difficult or tricky!! I held the camera handheld while pressing the shutter in bulb mode. I kept my finger on the shutter for as long as it took Mark to draw something in the air with the flashlight. He covered the light bulb with his hand between drawing the various elements (hence the “light wisps” in the sky). A little Photoshopping improved tonal balance and sharpening…
Anyone with a camera that has a bulb mode can try this out for themselves!

I thought it was very difficult and tricky to remember in which place the wheels had to be drawn under the chassis…. 🙂

Fun!

Oh it’s so cute! I love when people do different things with the generic “light photos” and you’ve done a lovely job of it 😀 Keep up the good work!
